Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Introduction

This Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases of “A Map Back To Me” through the Karma Therapist website: https://karmatherapistlearning.store/.

“A Map Back To Me” is an online course provided by Karma Therapist. By purchasing the course, you are buying access to digital course content.

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing. It explains your cancellation rights, when refunds may be available, and how to contact us if you need help.

2. Digital Course Access

“A Map Back To Me” is supplied as digital course access. No physical goods are shipped or delivered.

After payment is completed, customers are sent an email with instructions to access the course content. The course consists of pre-recorded video lessons and related online course content.

Access to the course is provided on a lifetime access basis, unless otherwise stated clearly on the sales page at the time of purchase.

3. Your Right to Cancel

If you are a UK consumer buying online, you may usually have the right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

For digital content, this right depends on whether access to the digital course content has already started and whether you gave express consent to receive immediate access.

The cancellation period begins from the date your purchase is completed.

4. Immediate Access and Loss of Cancellation Right

Because “A Map Back To Me” is a digital course, you may receive access to the course shortly after payment.

If you choose to receive immediate access to the digital course content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, and you confirm at checkout that:

  1. you agree to receive immediate access to the digital course content; and

  2. you understand that you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once access begins,

then you will lose your right to cancel once access to the course has started.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital course content is faulty, not as described, or cannot be accessed due to an issue caused by Karma Therapist.

5. Refunds Before Access Begins

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have paid for the course but have not accessed, opened, viewed, or started using the digital course content.

To request a refund before access begins, please contact us using the details in section 9 below.

We may check course access records before approving a refund request.

6. Refunds After Access Begins

Once you have accessed, opened, viewed, or started using the digital course content, refunds are generally not available unless required by law.

This is because the product is digital course access and the course content becomes available to you once access begins.

However, this does not affect your statutory rights. You may still be entitled to a remedy if the course is faulty, not as described, unavailable due to an issue caused by Karma Therapist, or otherwise does not meet the standards required under UK consumer law.

7. Faulty, Unavailable, or Misdescribed Digital Content

We aim to provide digital course content that is as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.

If you experience a problem with the course, please contact us as soon as possible. Examples may include:

  • you cannot access the course due to an issue caused by Karma Therapist;

  • the course content is not as described on the sales page;

  • the digital content is faulty or does not work properly;

  • you paid for access but did not receive access details.

Where required by law, we will provide an appropriate remedy. This may include fixing the issue, restoring access, replacing access, offering a price reduction, or providing a refund.

We are not responsible for access problems caused by issues outside our control, such as your internet connection, device settings, incorrect email details entered at checkout, or problems with your own email provider. However, we will still try to help where reasonably possible.

8. Exchanges

We do not currently offer exchanges.

This means we do not offer switching to another course, cohort, access option, or programme after purchase, unless Karma Therapist agrees otherwise in writing.

9. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

  • your full name;

  • your order number;

  • the email address used to purchase the course;

  • the date of purchase;

  • the reason for your request;

  • whether you have accessed or viewed the course content.

We may ask for additional information if needed to verify your order or investigate a technical issue.

10. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, it will usually be processed within 5 to 10 business days.

Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method used at checkout.

Karma Therapist refunds the cost of the course only. We do not charge additional refund fees.

Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account.

11. Exceptions

Refunds will not usually be provided where:

  • you have accessed, opened, viewed, or started using the digital course content;

  • you changed your mind after accessing the course;

  • you purchased the course by mistake but then accessed the content;

  • you did not complete the course;

  • you did not achieve a particular personal outcome from the course;

  • access issues are caused by your own device, internet connection, email settings, or incorrect information provided at checkout.

These exceptions do not limit or remove your statutory rights. If the digital course content is faulty, not as described, or cannot be accessed due to an issue caused by Karma Therapist, you may still be entitled to a remedy under UK consumer law.

12. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law.

This includes your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If the digital course content is faulty, not as described, or cannot be accessed due to an issue caused by Karma Therapist, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund where required by law.
